
Jamie is Music Director of Marlow Choral Society and works part-time for All Souls, Langham Place as Music Leader (Choir & 0-18 Ministry). He also works for Langham Arts as Associate Music Director of Prom Praise for Schools - he also co-founded Langham Arts' new Youth project, the Langham Arts Youth Orchestra, in 2024. Previously, he was Music Director of of the Buckland and Betchworth Choral Society from January 2020 - December 2023 and Music Director of the Chamber Choir in the Music department of Goldsmiths, University of London from 2017-2024. Jamie also works regularly for the National Youth Choir, working in various roles including Musicianship, Conducting & Section Coaching. He recently conducted the MNB 9-15 Choir in a performance at Coventry Cathedral in July 2025. He released his first recording with National Youth Choir in 2025, and will be co-leading a new SING! project for NYC in 2026.
Recently, Jamie has enjoyed performing works including Vivaldi's Gloria, Handel's Messiah, Haydn's The Creation, Brahms' Ein deustches Requiem, Vaughan Williams’ 5 Mystical Songs and Rutter’s Magnificat. Jamie also conducted the Royal Free Choral Society and Hampstead Sinfonia in a performance of GF Handel’s Messiah, stepping in at 48 hours notice!
Other highlights include co-writing a song for the Prom Praise for Schools Virtual Choir project .
Until July 2019, Jamie was Music Director of the Cappella Singers of Upminster. He was also Associate Conductor of the Royal Tunbridge Wells Choral Society from September 2016 - June 2018.
Jamie graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2018 with a distinction in his Choral Conducting Master's degree.
During his time at RAM, he participated in masterclasses with David Hill, Paul Brough (with the BBC Singers), James Burton, Simon Halsey and Paul Spicer. He has also had the privilege of conducting the Grammy-nominated Clarion Choir from New York in a masterclass with Steven Fox.
Jamie is a committed Christian. He is married to Ellie, and they have a dog, Peggy. He also loves sport, travelling and good coffee!

Jamie previously studied as an undergraduate at Royal Holloway, University of London, where he read Music, and was also a Choral Scholar in the world-renowned Choir of Royal Holloway. He featured on a number of recordings, sung in live broadcasts for BBC Television and Radio, and enjoyed tours to the USA, Canada, and all over Europe.
He is also in demand as a baritone soloist, recently appearing in performances of Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem, Fauré's Requiem and Bob Chilcott's Wenceslas. Jamie regularly sings in churches, concerts and recording sessions around London, with groups such as London Voices, The Armonico Consort and The Strand Consort. Jamie studied with renowned baritone Alex Ashworth at RAM.
